A main point of this study was that successful workplace learning is depended on workplace\r\nenvironment and its relationship with job performance will be improved in certain\r\norganizational culture values and practices. We hypothesized that the relationship between\r\nformal, informal and incidental workplace learning with task and contextual performance\r\nwould be higher in result-oriented cultures. These five hypotheses were supported. We used\r\ninteraction effect software by examining the strength of relationship in five level of result\r\noriented culture. The studies focusing on social capital concerning Turkey are all at the societal level. Data\r\ncorresponding to individual level social capital is not taken into consideration in the available\r\nresearch. Researches in social capital literature are mostly focusing on internal social capital\r\nand discounting the importance of external social capital. Nonetheless recent studies disclose\r\nthe fact that although Turkey has relatively low internal social capital level, it has a relatively\r\nhigh external social capital capacity. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the\r\nfavorable and unfavorable influences of the strong external social capital argued to exist in\r\nTurkish context. Also creation of external social capital and its possible effect on human\r\nresource applications such as employment, performance evaluations, promotions, rewarding\r\nsystems and deployment is depiced. More clearly, in this study, the influence of high external\r\nsocial capital on organizational practices is discussed analyzed and propositions for further\r\nempirical research is presented....
The purpose of this study is to analyse the influence of Spiritual Intelligence to transformational leadership style displayed by student leaders. Students are the future leaders in organizations, be it in the public or the private sector. During the years spent at the institutions of higher learning, students will be able to learn and experience many types of leadership either through their own capacity as the leader or as a team member. A total of 200 questionnaires were distributed to students. The students that participated in this study were from many parts of the world. It was found that correlation exist between Spiritual Intelligence and Transformational Leadership style displayed by the students. However, most of their coefficients indicate a moderate degree of strength. It is through group activities that students develop their leadership skills. As such, coordinators of these activities need to guide and nurture the leadership skills of the students....
Managers play an important role in organizations. They are the persons who formulate and\r\nimplement policies, plans etc in the organization. Managers are the first to be contacted for\r\nsuggestions with regard to overall information about the organization. Taking into\r\nconsideration the importance of managers in the organization and a critical review of\r\nliterature which revealed that the study on work motivation, burnout and intention to leave\r\nhas not been conducted so far on the top level managers of garment industry of Delhi and\r\nNCR, the researcher found a gap to be filled by conducting investigation on this sample for\r\nthe variables in question. So the sample of the present study consists of top level managers of\r\ngarment industry of Delhi and NCR.\r\nThus, a convenient sampling method was used for drawing the sample from 60 garment\r\nexport houses of Delhi and 40 of NCR.\r\nThis paper gives a deep insight of work motivation, burnout and intention to leave for the top\r\nlevel managers of the garment industry of Delhi/NCR. In this paper we have checked the\r\nrelationship of all dimensions of work motivation with the dimensions of burnout and\r\nintention to leave and have observed that all dimensions of work motivation have some more\r\nor less relationship with each dimension of burnout but neither of the dimensions of work\r\nmotivation or total work motivation have any relationship with intention to leave. So even if\r\ntop level managers leave their current job they don�t leave because of lack of work\r\nmotivation....
